‘THE ARUN’ MAGAZINE
‘THE ARUN’ magazine, published by Age Concern Horsham District, is free to all and contains articles, news and useful information of interest to older people in Horsham and the surrounding villages.
These include Ashington, Billingshurst, Coolham, Cowfold, Henfield, Lower Beeding, Partridge Green, Rudgwick, Shipley, Steyning and Warnham.
We have volunteer local distributors in Horsham and the villages. Many copies are distributed via the Home Visiting Service and copies go to other Day Centres, Sheltered Housing, older persons groups, surgeries, hospitals, churches, libraries, etc.
‘The Arun’ is A5 format, printed black on white paper with a tinted cover. It contains at least 20 pages plus the cover and includes some advertisements.
The magazine has been produced quarterly for over 30 years and has a circulation of over 2,750 per issue.
Copy deadline for articles and adverts is the first day of the preceding month. For example, the deadline for the August issue is the 1st of July.
